Yellowstone National Park, WY - Sept 2 - 5

This was our second visit to Yellowstone. We stayed near the northeast entrance of the park and had to drive through the cute towns of Cooke City and Silver Gate to enter the park.  The easily viewed wildlife in Yellowstone makes it one of our favorite national parks. We saw many wolves and even hung out with the wolf watchers, who shared their scopes and knowledge.
- Soda Butte Campground -
Graham playing with the Swarovsky scope that we rented. One evening we had a visit from a sweet fox.

In this part of the park, we were close enough to photograph: Bighorn Sheep, Pronghorn Antelope, Bison, and Moose

After a steep incline, this is such an enjoyable easy loop around the lake. We also did this hike on our last visit.

- Kraay's Garden and Market -
We have parked at this beautiful farm many times and this time we stayed for a month. It was a wonderful base for us to frequently travel to Hailey and Ketchum.

Boise, ID - Sept 26 - 27

Boise is a beautiful clean city filled with trees, great food and friendly people.
The Avery Hotel was a fun place to stay. We had cocktails at Thick As Thieves Speakeasy, and walked through Freak Alley Gallery. We recommend Wild Root Cafe, where we had a delicious breakfast.
