Our favorite restaurants around the country are casual, use good ingredients, and put love into their food. 

Dolina Cafe, Santa Fe, NM

We went here two days in a row. They serve hungarian dishes like chicken paprikash, and they make amazing pastries. The mocha latte was so good, we got it multiple times, and took a picture of it.

Pizza Lupo, Louisville, KY

This was a fun discovery that totally exceeded our expectations. We got one of the last tables available as the restaurant filled up for dinner. We ordered a pizza, and as we saw other tables getting theirs, we went ahead and ordered another pizza.

Tito and Pep, Tucson, AZ

This is an understated place with a high standard, which is a great combination. Their approach is relatively simple, the space is decorated with plants, and the food and drinks shine brightly.

Cart Driver, Denver, CO

With few menu items there is serious focus on everything that comes out of this kitchen.  We enjoyed creative cocktails with our salad and pizza.

Last Chair, Whitefish, MT

We lucked out when the owner gave us a table even though we didn't have a reservation. The menu is eclectic, it reminds you of a list of someone's favorite meals. We wanted to go back before we had even left.

The Russell, Kansas City, MO

Epic rustic decor, and super casual with counter service.  They are a catering company that offers lunch and dinner.  We had a veggie burger dressed the same as the meat burger, it was outrageously delicious. They also have homemade delicious desserts.

Finistere, Port Townsend, WA

We got seats at the bar, and were treated to some of the best service we have encountered. This is one of the most refined restaurants on this list, and still has an easy going vibe. We had cocktails that were on point, and shared a variety of dishes that captured local flavors.
