Glacier National Park, MT - July  27 - 31

It was hard to not buy one of these cute puppies at this farm instead we bought some delicious food. (Harvest Host)

Yellow Stone National Park, MT - July  21 - 25

Madison Campground was our base for exploring the different areas of the park. The bison roam freely in Yellowstone and often cause traffic (bison) jams. Thermal features enhance the already gorgeous scenery in otherworldly ways.

Bozeman, MT & Paradise Valley, MT - July  18 - 20

We stayed at a friend's place, did some camper maintenance, met a cool bearded dragon named Lolo, hung out at a lake, and hit up a hot springs pool.

Greycliff Mill, Greycliff, MT - July  17 - 18

This was one of our favorite Harvest Hosts.  They had designated sites for the campers that they were hosting. The owner was nice and interesting and told us all about how he designed the property.  There was a coffee shop that had local art for sale, a cheese shop, and more.   (Harvest Host).

Buffalo Bill State Park, Cody, MT - July  14 - 17

Cody is a cute town, with a lot of celebration of Buffalo Bill and the Old West.  We were surprised to find a Lebanese restaurant, Sitti's Table, where we had one our best lunches on the road. This was the first time seeing white pelicans since FL in Jan 2022.

Grand Teton National Park - July  7 - 14

We are grateful that we took so many days to bop around the park. There are so many things to see and do. The amazing mountains are almost always in view, and the changing light of the sun was fun to capture shining on the scenery.

We spent the day exploring this quaint area. There was lots of recreation going on around town, especially in the beautiful river.

Kraay's Market & Garden, Bellevue, ID - July  5 - 6

The owner of this beautiful farm makes prepared food that you can purchase.  We bought several items and really enjoyed her oat burgers, and banana bread. (Harvest Host)

Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco, ID - July  5

Several volcanoes erupted and then exploded, and created this unique and intriguing landscape. The park had just received a super bloom designation on the day we were there. Although they can be challenging to see in the photos, little flowers covered the ground surfaces.

Diamond P Grassroots Bison, McCammon, CO - July 4 - 5

We got to take a wagon ride through the bison field at this bison farm. Our host was knowledgable and shared lots of information with us. We were allowed to feed the bison from the wagon, but not allowed to touch them.  They have long tongues that you have to get the food past. This is where Colleen's love of bison began! Permaculture Paradise, Dinosaur, CO - July 1 - 2

We stayed on a piece of property next to the interstate. (Harvest Host)
In the morning we checked out the Dinosaur National Monument. There are fossils of dinosaurs on display as well as non-extracted fossils that are still in the mountain side.
