Rainier, WA - August 3 - present

We have reconnected with a dear friend, and are parked on her property in Rainier WA. We are using it as a home-base as we explore Mount Rainier and the area.

- Skyline Trail in Paradise - Our hike started with blue skies, it ended with us covered in clouds and rain, with little visibility. We saw 2 bear, 2 mountain goats, 3 marmots, and several deer. One of our favorite hikes! -

Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman, WA - August 16

With the sun shining brightly, the gorgeous, clear, and cool water was inviting and we all went for a swim.

Our first time dispersed camping on public land. They had designated spots which made for the perfect first experience.

Westport Winery Garden Resort, WA - August 30 - 31

There is always something special about being at the beach. Graham had fun surfing, and I had fun being a mermaid! The resort property was very impressive with gorgeous gardens and art installments. The Mermaid Museum, which we enjoyed very much, is also on the property. (Harvest Host)
