The Hideaway Bar and Sioux Bayou (HH), Gautier, MS - Apr 2 - 3
This small RV park and dive bar provided us with a prime parking space directly next to the bayou.
New Orleans, LA - Apr 3 - 4
This was our first time staying at an RV park to visit New Orleans. It is on the outskirts of the French Quarter, and we could walk to everything. We really enjoyed the location.
Martin Farms, Bellville, TX - Apr 6 - 7
This family owned Christmas Tree farm had the best equipped kitchen store we have ever been in. The property had several fields of gorgeous blooming wildflowers. It was a quiet, and peaceful place to spend the night,
Seguin, TX - Apr 7 - 9
We stayed with friends in Seguin, TX and took a beautiful drive through the Texas hill country to Blanco, TX. At the state park there, we watched the total eclipse. It was a fun and magical day!
Garner State Park, TX - Apr 9 - 10
The dammed river creates a lovely place to cool off amongst the enormous sycamore trees.

Marfa TX - Apr 10 - 12
We drove through Marfa last year and knew we wanted to go back and stay there. We loved it because it is so quirky and artistic. The two pairs of glasses helped keep the wind out of my eyes.
La Vina Winery (HH) - Apr 12 - 13
This winery has hosted Harvest Host guests since the beginning, they even provide electricity.
Super friendly staff, yummy wines and a gorgeous sunset.

City of Rocks, NM - Apr 13 - 14
Our second time back to one of our favorite state parks. It might be impossible to capture the vibe with photos.
Mount Graham Golf Club (HH), Thatcher, AZ- Apr 14 - 15
This was the first golf course we have stayed at. They didn't require us to play a round of golf. We did hit some balls around, and had a meal at the restaurant.
Phoenix, AZ- Apr 15 - 17
We loved exploring Phoenix, it reminded us of a larger Tucson. We ate delicious food, explored the botanical gardens, and visited with our new buddy, Alicia. That is a crested saguaro, which is very uncommon.
Century City, CA - Apr 22 - 23
We met up with Shannon, another new friend, in West LA. Graham made us a delicious craft cocktail. Sweet kitty did a good job of looking irresistible.
Death Valley National Park, CA- Apr 22 - 23
This was our second time in Death Valley NP. It is such a special place we were delighted to explore some new things and revisit some of our faves.
- Darwin Falls Trail -
The 2.5 mile road washed away during the 2023 rain storms. The only way to the trailhead is to hike the 2.5 miles through the wash. Once on the official trail there are several stream crossings. The wet and mossy area is a unique sight to behold in the desert. The water flows all year and is sourced from a spring. The water is fed through a pipeline to supply water to the town of Panamint Springs.
- Devil's Golf Course -
Not an actual golf course, but an ironic name for the salt pan. The peaks are caused by billions of tiny salt particles bursting apart, as they expand and contract in the heat.
- Salt Flats and temporary lake made by 2023 rain storms -
The Salt Flats were squishy to walk on. We walked out on the flats until we were ankle deep in the lake.
Snake River Gorge, Twin Falls, ID - Apr 27
As we drove through Twin Falls ID we crossed over this stunning gorge. We just had to get out of the truck and take a closer, more focused look.
Kraay's Market and Garden (HH), Bellevue, ID - Apr 27 - May 1
This beautiful property has a 360 degree view of mountains. It is simply stunning. We go to stay here for four nights, and used it as a base to spend some time in Hailey. We also purchased a bunch of delicious natural food from their market.
